About the Project
This project didn't have a script, a storyboard, or a UI. The product — Maya, Alchemyst AI's intelligent platform — existed as a backend. There was no frontend to screen-record, no dashboard to showcase, no interface to demo.
So I built one.
From a single brief and a one-week deadline, I designed a fully functional-looking UI in Illustrator and Figma, intentionally styling it to feel busy, data-rich, and alive — the kind of interface that signals real product depth. Every modal, every chart placeholder, every dashboard panel was built for the frame, designed to make Maya feel like a platform that had been in development for years, not one whose frontend didn't exist yet.
From there, I handled the full production pipeline: scripting the narrative arc, animating the interface walkthroughs in After Effects, editing the pacing down to :60, and layering the sound design to match the product's tone — polished, fast, and confident.
The entire thing — brief to delivery — was a one-person operation, with the founder and me going back-and-forth on the story beats until the narrative locked. No external agency. No production team. Just a week, a fake UI, and a tight creative collaboration that turned a backend into a launch film.
